Experimental Research-in-Public – Homage to Loïe Fuller (1862–1928).

Artists Anat Stainberg and Martina Tritthart, in dialogue with artist, curator, and theoretician Nicole Pruckermayr and with live music contribution from Sara Zlanabitnig invited designated audience to a public session of shared inquiry – exploring the legacy of artist Loïe Fuller through spatial experimentation and open discussion.
Loïe Fuller was a pioneer—an inventor, performer, designer, and visionary. She created the first abstract dance sequence, revolutionised stage lighting, designed kinetic costumes, founded a dance school and supported artists of her time. Fuller was a true Renaissance woman, shaping her own artistic path beyond conventions, clearly someone to learn from!
The discussion revolved around the question: how can artists implement the knowledge gained from historical masters in a way that fosters innovation rather than mere replication?

Learning from Loïe was supported and hosted by ImFlieger Vienna.
